OK where to start, just changed the engine last week and when it was all back together, second turbo was not coming in and boost pressure around 5-6psi, after taking the inlet manifold off I noticed a loose pipe, the pipe goes from the inlet manifold check valve (behind the altenator) to the double throttle control thingymebob, the plastic outlet pipe had broken off with nothing left to attach pipe.Could this be the reason i\'m getting low boost and second turbo fails to come in.

Also anyone got a spare for sale (Urgently needed)

I don\'t think so - if memory serves correctly, if there\'s nothing connected to the double throttle, it\'ll stay open rather than closed.

"Double-throttle control", I thought this was going to be a thread about using two accelerators (as in a driving instructors cars) to avoid speeding tickets - police can\'t prove whose foot was on the wheel at the time :)

Just changed mine double throttle control solenoid on monday!

It\'s not so important on manual cars - in fact a lot of people remove it completely.

Auto cars defo need it as it operates during acceleration as well as during warm up. Theres another thread selling his whole rats nest and all solenoids for a tenner - have a look in the for sale section.

here it is....
