Finally!!  After such a long wait, the car is going up to WGT on the 10th March :Thumbsup! It feels like I\'ve been waiting a lifetime

After all the crap I\'ve had to go through so far - killing the car on my first day of ownership.  Only experiencing full power for 150 miles - It\'s finally going to get its remap!  And just in time for more rain….:3gears-rh

Not sure how much of a difference there will be with its new 1600 secondary injectors and WI.  The car was running 300 rwhp on the twins prior to blowing a hole through my wallet.

I guess I’ll just have to wait and see

Upgraded fuel pump â€" not sure what one
1600 secondary injectors
K&N Twin Induction
Aftermarket downpipe
WGT decatted midpipe
Racing beat twin tailpipe
Aluminium AST tank
Aircon removed
Airpump removed
Pulley kit to accommodate the above two mods
Battery relocated to the boot.
RPS clutch

It’s looking pretty sorted right now!  Not much left to do before it goes single (next year hopefully).  

All I want to do to it now is tidy up the body, wheels etc and just drive it!!  Maybe a few bits here and there but not much else planned for this year….. honest!!  :2Rolleyes

i just got back from pips worked his magic spent about a grand :eek the rex is goin like a dream still goin up again between  6th-16th mar more mapping time ect good luck guys btw the a45 if ur taking it is closed for resurface just a heads up

I had a great day out at WGT today - it was nice to meet Gatesey and FTO Rich (despite his bad taste in cars! :p)  After all that walking we defiantly earned that burger king

My car made 333 rwhp @6500rpm on 0.9 on the twins which I was absolutely chuffed about - until Pip told me I was getting boost creep when the boost was being raised.  So its been mapped to .9 bar and I\'ve been told that I\'m loosing up to 50bhp in the mid range and a possible 30bhp on top  

It turns out that the wastegate isn’t doing its job properly, so I need to take the turbos off and send them up so I can get it enlarged (some more).  To quote Pip, \'Who ever built your engine did it too well.\'

Despite that, the car is amazing!  The power is so smooth and the sound is fantastic... I made sure there was a big tunnel to go through on the way back home

All in all, a fantastic day and money well spent.  I cant wait to see what its like when the boost problem is sorted and it can be turned up

I\'ll let Gatesey tell you all how his went .  Scans of the dyno to follow shortly!

i was up there as well getting my hks super dragger,decat dump valve, and apexi installed with a nice map on the dyno.

sorry i didnt say hello to you guys, me and my mate were both bursting for the toilet after waiting over 2 hours since the last stop and by the time we came back from going there and eating at little chef - everyone was gone

i only managed to go from 251-> 272 with the mods above because apparently the super dragger was definitely restricting the flow and pip was suggesting one of there exhaust or a blitz etc to get another 10-20bhp out of it..
More importantly the boost problems i was having before, where sometimes it didnt boost properly were actually down to the ecu, pip said it seemed busted as the boost was going all over the place.

So on the way back i was having loads of fun with proper full on boast+more power and a nice load BRRR and CsHHH

very happy and id definitely recommend pip+  an apexi ecu and a non stock exhaust to anyone

Was a superb day and I was massively suprised by the output of my engine.  Got a standard engine with the only mod being HKS filters and hard pipes, standard downpipes, a decat and a Racing Beat back box and still managed to get 300 at the fly and 260 at the wheels.  Much more than I was expecting.
Was good to meet you and your mate Chris and the look on your face during your dyno run was a picture.  So glad I wussed it and went to burger king while pip did mine.
