Hi.
My heater fan is not working today. I have had a look under the bonnet  but it does not seem to have a fuse for itself and as far as I can work out everything else is working. Is there another fuse box appart from the one in the engine bay? Worked fine yesterday.

hey bud i have had this problem tracked it down to a plug in the passenger foot well near the ecu, but you dont have to take any panels off! it can be knocked off quite easy with a tall passenger and some \'\'creative driving\'\':Nono!

Found the fuse box! Thanks. :)    No fuses blown though :(

Oh!!! does it work in any position??? The reason I ask is with the toyotas, the resister burns out & you only get the full power setting...... don\'t know if the 7 is the same??

No - nothing. Will have a play in the daylight. Cant see that taking the dash out will tell me much though.

Noticed this today (after checking the fuses again):
If I move the blower dial then the revs still shift slightly (10rpm or so for each click up) the same way as when it worked so can I assume the problem is between the switch and the fan? Can fans just stop?

Jono FD3

it\'s electrical mate.......... it does what it wants when it wants, so yea, it can just stop!!
