I\'ll have to wait but definitely interested, buying stuff for new flat takes priority I\'m afraid.

I would like to know how to do this: Ive got a yellow top battery and 2 fuses at 60 but dont know if the fuses need to be bigger.  The cable ive got says on it 20mm square but does that need to be bigger to?

jetpilot

You will probably find 20mm squared is about 4 awg, to small really, and 60 amp fuses will most likely blow as soon as you crank the engine!

MikeLMR

sizing the fuses should be easy, the fuse is there to protect the large cable, pick a fuse that matches the maximum working current of the cable you are using

fletcher9017

what cable & fuses should i get and where from

fletcher9017

were did you get the 150 amp breaker from or will a 200 amp breaker be ok

Hi Jetpilot!

Do you have a picture of how the metal jacket and automotive posts look?

I\'m very interested in the whole kit, but I need to make sure it sits securely :)

Thanks
Joeh

jetpilot

Post 34 has the picture buddy.

sorry to bring back a thread from the dead, but did anything happen with this jetpilot?

Perfect timing for a thread update!

I\'d like to get another Odessey battery as my last one decided to start smoking, that\'ll teach me to buy off ebay (I think it was dodgy)! I just need a PC680 or PC680MJ as I already have all the cables installed and a set of terminals.
Cheers

allstaruk

I\'ve got mine in the rear bins and i had to drill 2 x 10mm holes in teh bottom and that was it,
