Guys

I was feeling really low tonight, not just about the impact of the actual crash, but about the state of human nature.

I really want to thank you all for the effort you have put in, its made a huge difference to me.

Thank you so much.

Put his car on e-bay.................

That will teach the SOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hehe could always get lots of different people to ring with complaints about the same guy, i.e. if you have loads of different people who all say they seen him speeding could get him in alot of sh*t, they prob wouldnt take much notice if only one person complained

How can the cops find it hard to track the guy from what you gave him when ppl can find it on the internet in less than 2 hours?? how many CLS 55 AMG\'s are there likely to be on the roads in the UK with 55 VRZ as the last 5 digits of his plate???

Fking retard couldve easily killed lots of ppl and shouldnt be driving - and then some.

Crazy Eddie

Hope they do something about this but we will see.
Like has been said they couldn\'t have tried very hard to find as has been showed!!

Well done guys and please keep us informed as interested in this all the best with it.

Oh and good job with the not smashing into the back of him as that would have come off your insurance and would have sucked big time.

Time to mount a video camera in the car!

OMG!!  I cant believe that.  And nice one Grinder.  I hope the police do something about that now!

Joeh

Hey I\'ve got a better idea, if you want the police to really beat the **** out of him and trace him immediatly,  you can say this:

"I met the guy, after finding him parked outside a restaurant. I spoke with him and he realised that he was going to get in a lot of trouble for what he did.. he offered me money but I declined, he then offered me passports and other such legal documentation... he said they would all be registered and such.. I still declined... but I told him I would get back to him...."

LOL the police will hunt for him immediatly... not even a second spared...

Quote from: onelastpostGrinder - you are a legend! What do I have to do to get an address?

Got to the police with it.  If they do nothing (remember two witnesses so not your word against his) then go to the papers.  Make sure your insurance company know the situation and pass on the details on to your insurers - no way you should see any less £s in your pocket because of this tw@.

Very glad you\'re okay and it\'s a sobering tale for us all :(

hah, when he did it the 2nd time you should of just hit him. Sounds like the guy in the Merc would of backed you up in that outcome also.

can the police find out an address?  if so i might know someone that can help.

would be a much better idea than getting the police involved.  a knife in all tyres , every pannel deeply knifed and oh yer a good old friend called paint stripper.  not to mention the brick through the window as we drive off just to let him know what has happened.  then wait 2 months and do it to his next car, or repaired car.

did i say this.....................must have been the drink talking.  just PM me and i will be there, even if i have to drive to scotland.

honestly though i will make some enquires about the address

Andrew,

I have now managed to trace the Mercedes vehicle and have spoken to the driver late last night.

Please could you either contact me today or forward a contact telephone number to discuss the matter further.

Thank you

Andrew

I have confirmation that the correct Registration for the Mercedes CLS 55 AMG should read: YH 55 VRZ

I was thinking the same thing on the way home!

D1WTF - thanks for that, I am going to go down the police route, first. There is always plan B!

Let us know what happens.
Also be interesting to know if theres any cameras overlooking the motorway there.  may be worth a check.
