I am not sure what lights to fit i currently have these fitted to the car allthough i do have popups but dont really like them either they are too retro for me.

anyone know of a kit that fits well that doesnt cost £1k like the cwest one ?

i like the kits that follow the lines of the standard popup covers and dont poke out at all but don\'t seem to find them anywere.

ideas ?

how about these, IIRC RE-Amemiya? Best I\'ve seen if you can\'t keep pop-ups. I just keep mine down and use foglights (uprated)

Have a look at this link.  Very similar to the RE-A style above, plus you have the choice of HID\'s too!

What about the halo type ones on ebay?

Similar to these but in carbon effect??

CraigN

there the same as the ones i have.

the ones you see on my car are infact illegal in this country

they have no beam pattern at all and they point in funny directions.

I see......so you wouldn\'t recomend them then......
HID\'s for the pop up\'s it is then!

Cheers for the help :D

I thought Knightsports did some half pop-ups but I\'ve only ever seen them in a tiny picture on their Japanese website and never found them for sale anywhere in the UK.

flatty

colour code the ones you have!

Someone on here has some pop-ups that are different to standard that looked really good, but i saw them when searching so i\'ve no idea what they were. They were angled more and the bulb casing was divided in two

i still want to get away form the popups,

Im annoyed by loosing the covers as every time i do i need to buy a new one and have it painted.

Ive nearly run out of the paint my car is painted in as i have a silver base coat followed by a blue perl. could be hard to match so.......

they are not road legal for the UK

MOT failure as they have no pattern and no direction they point all over the shop

How come you keep losing covers :eek One of mine came loose the other day but losing many of them is just careless. Can\'t you attach a safety line to the back of them or anything...

As for those EVO-R ones, I\'m not a fan of the sleepy eye look they give the car...get the RE-A ones, go on, you know you want to... :WaveBye

Do the pop ups come loose a lot then???

I like them.........think the car is dead s£xy when they\'re down......

I\'d get the twin conversion for the pop ups to bring them up to date.....
