Hi all

Looking for some modding advice and what order to do it in.

Car needs a respray (bodywork fading, dent on bonnet), new wheels (standard 16") and new suspension (leaky dampener). I want the car resprayed it\'s original colour and laquered, i\'m sourcing wheels from Japan and i\'m going to purchase tein super street suspension, with top mounts. Eventually i\'d like a subtle bodykit and spoiler. Should i wait, save up some dosh and buy bodykit, then respray whole car? Respray car then spray and fit bodyparts in a years time say...leave body work and buy and fit wheels/suspension...decisions,decisions....

What order should i do it in??? What am i to do?

Here\'s my thoughts...

The bonnet has a ding in it with the paint flaked off, about the size of a 10p, thinking i could replace the bonnet (as its very upsetting seeing an fd in this condition), complete the suspension and wheels. I would polish the car using the megauirs three stage stuff and see how it looks. Headlight covers and bumper are a little faded...suggestions?

Thinking of having a carbon fibre rear spoiler, bonnet and those sweeeeeet Feed carbon sideskirts once i\'ve saved some dosh and get the car resprayed..

What you think??

Again, i\'ve checked ebay, and found a couple of carbon fibre bonnets for the FD. Good quality you think? Any ideas where i can purchase them from (without costing the earth)

Also, i found this website

https://www.rhdjapan.com/home/index.php

and have registered, seems decent and i\'m looking at bbs 17" wheels for a cheap fix at the moment,

https://www.rhdjapan.com/home/produc...product_id=358

what you guys think? Anyone used their website and purchased items?

Saying that i quiet like the idea of gold wheels on a silver car, maybe gold with polished lip...

Cheers

Hi

I had a dent the size of a £1 on my 99 spec nose.  The paint was also off.

I called //www.chipsaway.com £100 later and I could not even see where the dent was.  It was a brilliant job.  Give them a call…

Surely someone has used that website? Any websites for alloys? Thinking maybe gold or bronze alloy?

I use RHDJapan all the time, you can rely on them.  Also they will lower insurance value for lesser customs charge if you want

Ring up and speak to Patrick if you have any questions

How are you sourcing wheels from japan? I fancy some that you cant get here and need to get them on a boat somehow!
