FC to MX5

Just a quickie for you FC experts. Its so quick that I dont even think it needs to go in the technical queries section! :rolleyes:  Here goes:

Heard a rumor that FC pop ups fit the MX5 (presume this would be just the square lens). Is this a load o rubbish or the gosple truth?

The 13B lump does fit into the MX5.  Dont know how much of a job it is though.

Any thoughts on this topic!  Need to replace the round pop up lense with a square one and heard the above rumour!

Sorry I really should have made this clearer, lol

My brother owns an MX5 and needs to swap them for a square (or rectangle if you will) lense, hence the FC lense question.

Sorry to post up such a useless post/reply but I ma just glad that you are not changing the front of your 7 coz it looks great. Best bodykit for a 7 and still remember it looking great from RSIII.

1st gen headlights might be a swap for the Mx5 as they are round too IIRC.

why would you want to fit the quare lights. Swap the standard sealed beam round lights on the MX5 for some non sealed beam round lights, try and find a decent make like Hella and they will FAR outperform a lot of the modern style lights as it is all down to the reflector design and at the end of the day it\'s much easier to make a round reflector and lense work properly than a square light unit or some other fancy shape.

T2 head lights are realy not that good!! i agre with Mike you would be best of buying a set of Uprated stock headlights.

The question should be can you fit Mx5 Head lights to a T2:rollin

Cheers for the replys anyway folks.  Guess its back to the drawing board for the MX5!  Most aftermarket lenses are US spec too, so would need alot of adjusting.

Dont you worry Bob, the front end of the RX aint going anywhere!

Especially one of those nice dual headlight conversions, given that the Knightsports kit I had my eyes on supposedly isn\'t that great...
