odd... I\'ve had AST and rad caps changed recently, and whenever I open the rad cap (engine cap) it looks low...

Think I\'ve now got a leak somewhere else, so its all academic till i sort that out...

Would love to get a pressure test done and for someone to find the bloody leak!!!111ONEONE

:Grrr :Grrr

I won\'t go into details again... this thread explains it...   think you\'ve already helped me there too!!   :Thumbs-up

But its still not sorted

Quote from: MillSpeedIf the level\'s not dropping in the filler neck by the alternator (which would set off the low coolant buzzer) then there\'s a chance it could be a problem with the sensor or its wiring. If memory serves, if you earth the wire that\'s going to the level sensor the buzzer will sound, so it could be that the wire is earthing somewhere. Either that or the buzzer sounds when you disconnect the wire from the sensor (I can\'t remember off the top of my head). Either way, inspect the condition of the wire coming from the sensor. There\'s a second connector somewhere along its length which has been known to cause problems also.

I\'m sure I read that the sensor earth through the coolant, so when it goes low, no earth and sounds the buzzer...

So when you take the wire off it should sound AFAIK.
