car is now fixed! was the slave cylinder.

btw one word of advice if you ever change yours RESIST temptation to push the rod in cos fluid will shoot out of it and nearly get you in the eye!

I had the same thing with mine bud, however the cause was slightly different... Some silly bugger (before my time) couldn\'t be bothered to put the top bolt on the slave cylinder so it was only held on by one bolt, said bolt sheared in half, pushrod came out along with a whole load of fluid. Thankfully it was a cheap repair though - bottle of brake fluid and two new bolts!
