Hi guys, just looking for some feedback on these, does anyone rate them, would the difference be noticeable? Any downsides?

Ive got one on mine and I attribute the jerking engine at low speeds to it, very annoying.

if you have a search i caused a whole load of discussion when i asked a similar question a few months ago.   I ended up with a 8kg one instead of the 12.5 kg Series 4 one.  Made a noticible difference to the pick up but did also makea little more jerky to pull away at low revs.  I think the TII flywheel is about 10.5 KG and the FD is lighter still so that would be a cheaper option to put in a Turbo II as a cheap upgrade.  Dont forget to factor in the cost of a counter weight which you will need.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Well your not wrong, you certainly did cause some discussion and i got bored after the first 2 pages! In suumary then, lol, i think a lighter than stock but nothing silly would be the best of both worlds!! Any recommendations as to a good manufacturer!

antnicuk

no sorry i cant recommend any makes but if you need a clutch i dont think you could go wrong with a complete set up including flywheel, not cheap though.  I only did mine cos i was taking my gearbox out.  I got mine 2nd hand from Tim

I have tried the Knightsports centerforce clutch, with their lightest flywheel. VERY nice is what I can say. Will get one of those for my car. Think it\'s somwhere around 5kg\'s
