just intrested to see how people hav configured there alarms to work the central locking ive fitted a solenoid in the drivers door with a rod attached to the inside locking knob but there seems to be to much strain and its burning the solenoids out???

Not sure if this is of any help but mine locks the doors at the same time as putting alarm and immob on.  It also has anti-hijack which locks the doors when the key is on ignition (which can be a PITA if you have started your car and dont close the door properly! :Hammer )

Anyway, when you try to unlock the car with anti-hijack on it\'s impossable to do on the drivers side but fine on passangers? :3Confused

when i had my alarm fitted i had them fit c/l too, and they said something about it required a different locking kit which used something else instead of rods? i can\'t remember what the other thing was though, in fact i can\'t remember it might even have been the other way round and needed rods instead of the other thing. lol oh well that wasn\'t much help was it :)
