Oh folks,

Well tonight was the first (and with present headlights the last) time I have taken the car on twisty back roads at night. God my headights suck.

So basically the simple question is - how do I either improve the standard pop ups or (keeping them pop ups - wife likes em) replace the standard lights? and if so with what?

Any help apreciated - also my front right fog light has gone down. Easy bulb replacement?

Cheers for any help !

Your best bet would be a HID upgrade with the standard lights or get the Knight Sports kit (Quad lamp) and use HIDs instead of the H4s.

Alot of the sleek lights although looking the nuts are quite limited in output as the bulb is recessed too far back causing the beam to become blocked on the outer corners of the casing.
Cheers

Oh the other option is to just run uprated bulbs and invest in some HID fogs!

Ok so HID upgrade then it seems.

Where would i get a decent DIY kit from bearing in mind I\'m a crap auto electrician?

Also where to get fog light bulbs or full hid replacements?

Cheers guys

I have RE-A Sleek lights - although no the H3 HID kit they make now.

The light output sucks - I had the car on a tight 360 degree sprial type bend in Oxford the other week and had to slow down to about 20 to avoid crashing into a hedge because there\'s no real output right or left of straight ahead.... might just need adjusting but still I\'d say stick with pop ups and get a HID conversion :)
