Rite, I know this vehicle isn\'t a rotary but it is in the same family as our beloved beasts!!!! My sister has got an import Mazda MPV 4x4 and it is going through tyres like their going out of fashion!!! My brother works for the AA and has given us the correct geometry setting (Caster Camber Toe etc.) she took the car down to the nearest garage to have it all set up, but I think they have ballsed it up totaly:eek: :spank !!!!

Can someone translat these figures for me please:confused: ????

What we got from the AA:

Front:
Toe: 0 degrees 11" plus/minus 0 degrees 22"
Camber: 0 degrees plus / minus 1 degree
Caster: 1 degree 54 min plus / minus 1 degree
KTI: 11 degrees 12 min

Rear:
Toe: -0 degrees 8 min plus/minus 0 degrees 11 min
Camber: 1 degree plus/minus 1degree

Hmm, not sure how to convert degrees to mm on toe.
The other numbers in the garage spreadsheet look comparable to the AA numbers, so any particular reason to think they are using the wrong settings?
I would read that output as Mv being the old values, Av being the new ones as there are Mv numbers listed for KPI and I doubt they played with that! So it looks like the main thing they have done is significantly change the front toe (8.4mm of change!!) What type of tyre wear were you getting? How does it now feel?

Tyre ware befor was horrendus on the inner edges!!!! I\'t\'s only been done about a week, but now the vehiscle is pulling to the left slightly but it didn\'t do it before!!!

So the settings look about right then???

Is it actually pulling to the left, or is the steering wheel off centre? Looks like the toe was uneven side to side before, whereas now its even. If you can see the track rods, make sure they\'ve adjusted both sides, rather than all on one side to save time :(
