Just installed APEXI FC & commander

Hi all,

As above.

Run learning mode and at the end i had these readings. DO they seem normal.

InjDuty       4.2%
Ignt LD       15
Ignt TR       5
Eng Rev      890 +or- 20
Speed         0
Boost         -440
Knock
Water temp 82

As i was saying these readings are at the end of learning mode (with A/C running full power) and are a rough average as all apart from water temp fluctuated abit. I have not driven it yet so those peak readings will be posted when i get chance. ALSO i noticed that ignt ld & tr seemed to be 10 apart with ld in front until i reached about 1500 revs then they where identical values right through the rev range is this normal?

Hi again,

Another question.  On removing the old ECU i had to undo a earthing strap should this be fitted to the Apexi. And how has everyone else mounted their FC ? Is there a bracket you can get to fix it where the old ECU bolted to. Cause i dont think it will do it much good rolling around the passengers footwell.

I cable tied mine in, no big deal really.

Readings seem sweet for a warmm car idling.  I seem to recall connecting my earthing strap to the PFC just to be sure.  Go for a drive, keep abn eye on knock level shouldn\'t go about 60 tops.

Also, check injector duty on boost a few time make sure you don\'t hit 100%

Really though, first thing to do is go get it mapped if you have any mods at all..
