Hi Guys,

Going to servive my car next weekend and the RE-Amemiya filter is probably quite dirty. My questions are:
1. Can you clean these and if so what is best way to do it?

2. Should I buy a replacement filter?

3. Should I get a better induction kit or are these up to the job?

Your help is, as always, gratefully received.

Cheers

clean it!! i use white spirit to clean my hks filters while i had them

gmogle

Definitely clean it mate, K&N do a filter cleaning kit which you could use to clean it, I would soak it for a while and squeeze the sponge in all different places to ensure the dirt/dust comes out.

You\'ll be amazed at how quickly it turns the water mucky !!!!

Cheers guys :Thumbs-up . So it is a good enough kit not to replace then?

Hi Eddie

Get the showrer running put shower head in the hole the pipe would attach to and watch the muck come out.
Then give it a good clean with the K&N, my apexi\'s came up a treat.

Ok guys clean (well as much as I can)
Is the oil idea a good one or not? Or would engine oil be better or just leave it clean and dry?
Thank you
