  • check out your loom and electrics before you start. I would (very strongly) recommend a seperate relay for the headlights if you go this route (having narrowly avoided a fire on mine). Mazda inexplicably ran the headlight power to the dashboard switch and back rather than having seperate relays for high and low beam.
  • also, the headlights won\'t align properly because they are not projector lights so although you can wind them down the plastic covers round the front of the headlights then have trouble fitting
  • watch for getting bi-xenons as the bulb units are significantly deeper than standard and the headlights may not be able to pop-up without catching the bulb (found that out on rx7club)
  • if you have a 1992 car there is not a wiring diagram available and it is slightly different to the widely available 94 wiring diagram (it\'s more like a 1991 FC)
  • get an earthing kit at the same time. The xenons are fussy about getting a good starting voltage (above 13.8V) and if you have dodgy earths this can prevent them firing (still to resolve this one on mine)
Apart from that, they are not difficult to fit and the light output is predictably fantastic

Don\'t worry, I\'m not going to go down this rought until I do my headlight conversion, & for that I will be doing a little re-wireing with relays etc.!!!!
Just put it up incase anyone was after a set!! seen the difference in the light on a skybus using this kit and it was a shed load better!!!
