I run a great V Mount on my car....you can buy it direct from Radtech.  It coped happily with 2 hours worth of racing and testing at Pembrey so Id say that is a good enough rubber stamp to say its good!

Plus as it is made to order....you can get the measurements just right!!!

Cost will be about £800 all in :)

Also it is pointless buying a stupidly huge radiator that doesn\'t have any ducting and channelling.  Also the air needs to be able to exit as well as enter.

Money is better spent getting the ducting right so that the air is forced through the radiator (max speed is about 50mph though) and correctly venting to avoid low pressure zones which will cause the air to stall

So you need to slow that air down going in, then speed it up coming out

Big isn\'t always the best....I mean who would you go for Kylie or Opera Singer?

Just in the middle of some changes to my car including V-Mount from Dragon (made by Radtech). Design is for twins so having to hack I/C pipes a bit to suit single setup. I have also welded bracket to bottom of rad to fit a plate between front bumper intake to rad.

No problems finding cold air feed to intake.

i am 99% sure the WGT kit is radtech as well.  well that is what all the hoses that came with the kit are stamped with.  like above mine has the ali side plates, but they do not sit on the rad as above.  as with the WGT kit the IC is the same width as the rad so they sit at the sides. (if that makes sences)

Yeah, the WGT kit is radtecs too. I think radtec are not allowed to sell through themselves anymore though. I think they now have a deal with Dragon - I was the last person (as far as i know) to buy direct from radtec.

I have the ODULA V-Mount on mine, around £1000 and it comes with a rad , looks really impressive, nice size too and works.

I think Carl is now offering his own variation of the Vmount now aswell, not sure on specs though.

There are so many V-Mount kits it\'s unreal.  From looking at the parts section of RX-7 Vol 91 (Japanese), there are quite a few available: -
RE Amemiya (huge intercooler!)
R Magic
Odula
Knight Sports
FAMC
HKS

Now, reading RX-7 magazine #30 (Japanese again), there is a great feature on turbos that show off quite a few setups.

The 2 best in my opinion (looking for early torque not out and out power) are the RE Amemiya V-Mount with TD06-25G (410ps/6400rpm, 49kgm/5300rpm) and the FEED front mount with TO4S (430ps/6530rpm, 51kgm/5450rpm).  As you can see from the figures, there is no clear direction as to front or v-mount being better than the other :(  It may just come down to personal preference.

They have a page description of the HKS V-Mount, it allows keeping the battery and has room for the air pump - doesn\'t look like the kit comes with a radiator though.

The Knight Sports V-Mount with their SS480  produced 416ps/7500rpm, 40.8kgm/6200rpm.

So much choice!

They are expensive!

JapanCentre.com is one place £23ish delivered. They also sell Option and Option2 which are a little cheaper, about £8 delivered.

I got a subscription to RX-7 Magazine, Japanese lessons required unless your just after a picture book.

ODULA V-Mount + TD06-25G :Thumbsup! Great setup!
