Got a mate visiting from Australia, and he runs the FTO owners club out there; hoping to bring him (+ another passenger) along on Saturday :)

my girlfirend will be bringing her FTO incase mine breaks down I suppose (faaar too paranoid - but cant help it at the moment).

i think i am kind of organising this but only will full agreement and opinions of those attending and the club so i think speaking on behalf of all it is ok to bring a friend or partner etc.

i\'m assuming he wont have brought his car over but i have no objections to anything so far and i personally may benifit from a bit of guidance from your friend & means we all get to try and convert them no doubt to the rotary future..... :god

lol, sounds good as a few are unable to make it, the more the meeior i guess.  might be worth starting up a list of people that def want to eat etc, so we can book table or is it just go to the bar to order type place?

i would like to focus on our cars on saturday to a degree but also on getting to know each other too. and not all of us come wthout baggage i suppose :Tongue1 . so family, friends and even beemer boyfriends i have no problems with!

just looking forward to having a bit of a chat with everyone an a nose round the cars! but considering that theres not a huge crowd of us i\'m sure we will be crossexamining any others too!

i havent posted on any other club or forum at all for this, its on the RX8 OC (isnt it - ann?) but no others. i could put an invitation on FDUK but i only discovered it last night so i havent had a chance to ask you guys whether thats ok. also perhaps ask a few friends from the skyline and supra clubs to come but if im honest i havent felt the need yet (selfish B*****d :spank  ) as i just want to have a chance to ask some questions about mine if thats ok and enjoy a bit of rotary for the time being.

if anybody would like to come regularly then i\'m sure we\'ll get bored of each other.... :flamed  and hopefully more people can attend (but i dont think there are too many rotarys for miles anyhow).

Havent booked a table as yet the pub is in two halves with non smoking restaurant area and a big bar lounge area but with about another four 4-6 seater tables in a smoking environment. The food is good and drinks etc are not too expensive so if you would like to sit down to eat or have a drink :guinness then i can book in advance just so we can definately sit together. (its not jam packed or smokey at all really)

i\'ve been contemplating alot and i am considering leaving start point heading down the :god  A6 wonderful sections dark lonely good to see some flames! then out onto the m1 at flitick then perhaps up to milton keynes and we can stop in one of the large car parks perhaps centre mk or oceana then back to luton perhaps loosing anyone who needs to go (it is saturday tho!) then back to luton for a drink...

we could scrap this and go watford but i\'m open to suggestions from everyone! i\'m just making it up as it goes along really - but good as possible!

That\'s exactly what I did when I organised my first meet - just see what people want to do on the night. It also depends a bit on the weather.

We would like to eat and would prefer to be in the resturant if possible - but we\'ll go with the majority.
