how many people have used epoxy to build up the water jacket if so which one did you use and where is the best place to buy it from?

My front and back plate have a very thin section on the water jacket, they havn\'t broken through so would like build it up as i can\'t afford 2 new plates

What ever you can get basicly they all work if you get the surface clean! This is the key to any repair like this if its not spotless then don\'t even bother as you\'ll just make matters worse by having lumps of chemical metal floating around the system.

ive used epoxy for building water jackets up
I used a machine tool grade epoxy that we use in engineering that can be machined, milled tapped etc.
make sure you take the old crust of in the areas that your  applying to with a dremmel or porting tool to make sure it bonds well,
also dont be shy with the hardener that u mix with it.

Is it not possible to get a set of cheap used plates that are better condition than yours instead of the epoxy method..
The Epoxy should be a very last resort..
