failed MOT on emmissions, went off the scale!!!

:2eek took my car for MOT today and failed on emmissions and a few other silly bits. ALL is sorted now apart from the emmissions as i havent got a clue where to start. The tester said the machine goes upto 10% for CO readings and it went off the chart, and it was the same story with the other readings.

I have a single turbo, streetport by tim at reworx and a 3" pipe straight back to the backbox. The car was left idling in the workshop for about 20mins so the temp was up. Now how the hell do i get it back down to 3.5%, do i have to put a cat back in and if so will this even take it down as much as i need???

really need help with this one as its all thats keeping me from getting the pass now.

forgot to add, can i change anything in the commander for the PFC to bring these values down??

richard ur map must be mega rich mine was rich and running 7% is it poss whoever mapped it has made it mega rich in light of ur previous problems and is playing safe.u can adjust the pfc and it will reset when u start the car but i dont know how but someone will come allong with info
to be honest i am prob going to install a high flow metallic cat as this will clean it up a lot maybe enough to get under 3.5%
10% is way too high and totally unneeded
