i\'m trying to remove my re-a side skirts, but the bloke who put them on originally used some kind of uber black sealant that is as strong as concrete. i have cut some off it off but along the door sill on the top edge you can\'t get a knife down there.  i\'ve tried using a hair dryer to soften it up and the edge of a credit card but it\'s as tough as nails!

does anyone know of a spray or liquid that will dissolve the rubber sealant, or another way to get them off without damaging the paint!? it\'s driving me mad!

hmm... hot air gun bud? if that dont work paint thinners a do it but that a most likly take the paint off 2.. sounds like he`s used silkoflex sealent, if he has then i doubt you`ll get them off without breaking um..

Dude, it\'s a sign telling you to keep them. Your car looks mint as it is, just buy another "tatty" FD for the track, which will mean it won\'t matter so much when you plough some gravel ;)
