I have to swap out my clutch, then will defo get it dynoed soon although I have a horrid idea that rebuild time is looming !!

Quote from: dubber91not the first time ive heard that. They use a dynodynamics unit and they are far better IMO than inertia dynos

whilst grip is less of a problem, the dual roller does affect horsepower figures.
There are pros and cons of each design. Hub dynos may even be seen as more accurate.

i still wouldnt trust the flywheel horsepower figures though....

Heard this soooo many times, compleat bollox to be frank, I was at the Thor dyno day yesterday and brought with me my last dyno graph from REworx and guess what..............both were almost identical, within .2hp at the flywheel.

I reckon a dynapack will give you quite different figures.

perhaps you were lucky, and ran on similar conditions.

I run a dyno dynamics dyno daily and regularly see around 3BHP difference from DAY TO DAY on a car i mapped and run every day. On this particular car thats a 3% variation from day to day. On a 300HP FD thats 10HP fluctuation daily.
Not that it matters: Im happy if the AFRs remain consistent and the graphs are the same shape.
There is nothing wrong with working with a dyno back-to -back like this, its when you start running your vehicle on several differnt dynos that you will experience major fluctuation
