Quote from: Ricco_04Hey that give\'s me an idea - with all that room surely you could squeeze in a turbo........hell why not two! :Thumbsup!  (I could have worked for Mazda! :D)

Hehe cracked me up that did:Laugh

Though It would be nice to have two FD\'s, one turbo and the non turbo as the daily driver (surely a little more reliable?). Wonder how much insurance is on the non turbo conversion, been considering getting rid of the Polo :Giggle

Knowing insurance companies it will probably be higher as its modified! They tend to have the common sense of a lemming

I have always wondered what it would be like as N/A.  I just love the punch of power and the turbo noises that you get when it has those "asthma pumps" ;)  I would settle for a 20b N/A though - just 360 Bhp will do fine :D  I do love the unclutterd bay.

Now that sounds like a ood idea :D
But the fuel costs would still be high and you might as well get an Rx8 if you could afford one of course, or a Mk1 :D

Perfect emptiness - just add NOS !:spank :spank :Thumbs-up

why do people think tubby\'s are unreliable - nout wrong with them - the one in my T2 is still working despite beginning to leak oil, and that\'s been spinning for 16 years on and off !  I\'d say that was fairly reliable for something that rotates at several thoushand RPM !!

Actually with all that room up front he could squeeze a blower in there !

well done!! and it\'s bootfully  !!,
Move the battery somewhere (e.g in the back etc..)
which rotors are you using?

kevin, where did you get that pic from ? its just that when i went to look at my car in the import place there were 2, mine and a silver rx with the reamemeia bumper and no turbos .....i would have bought it had it not been for the fact it was unbelieveably slow:(

Kevin

Hi chris,

I got that picture from garage-r in Japan.  It\'s an old picture on the site but I doubt it\'ll be the same one as the outside is 99 spec\'d.

chris p

ah well.
Why do that though !!! it was unreal the difference between that non turbo\'d one and mine !
