You\'ll proberly find they have been designed for diffrent levels of heat (bit like Race pads can start at Road level and go up to full blown Ceramics that won\'t fair at 200mph)

Think about the speed a Disk will turn at higher Speeds. They will be completly diffrent even though they look the same the compound will be designed for a diffrent Job.

the weight of he vehicle would create just as much heat braking from 100 - omph than an fd breaking from 150 - 0mph, the hilux weighs twice as much. would be interesting to find out.

Actualy the hilux weighs the same as the FD believe it or not: about 1250KG but carrying weight is 1 tone in the back and a trailer!!

SORRY! got my info here

All i have to say is. Have you ever driven a Hilux with a Ton and a Half of Car and Trailer on the back. I had ago today :) The brakes didn\'t feel that good :2eek

I\'ll stick to my 150-0 in an FD Cheers.:yes

Must have been something going on with the brakes on that one then.... driven mine with a 2 tone car on a trailer and felt OK..... could be the load sensor nakerd on the rear of the one you drove as that affects the stopping power!!

Proberly....

It did\'nt feel good going down hills, i have to say there was at least two brown pant moments but it did make me drive a lot calmer after that    :2eek
