Kinda....

Well I\'ve removed all the arms and stuff myself, but have left the removing/fitting of bushes to RE:Worx, as a big old press is needed for this and some can be well stuck if they\'ve been in along time....

Removing is a peice of cake....the polishing of the arms is a total PITA, but that just me and I\'m not one for doing things the easy way! Refitting should also be straight forward.

Yeh easy, Just make sure you mark up any Ajusters etc before you start then get two big sockets one that fits tight inside the Bush and another bigger than the outside of the Bush then use a vise to push the smaller socket through the Bush using the bigger socket as space for the Bush to go (so you don\'t push the bush into the Vise)

It works best if you can get a socket that sits on the Steel ring that holds the Bush together on the widest part. they are just Push in fit so if you are swinging on it to get it moving your socket may be too big and catching the arm.

i changed my bushes by hand, it is hard work but after much head and bum scratching, was came up with quite a good method of removing the old bushes. I tried the press approach see here: http://www.maxcooper.com/rx7/how-to/suspension/pillow_balls/index.html
But i kept snapping the bolts, instead we drilled out the rubber, heated the bushes and used a g clamp to press out the bushed into a big socket. Worked like a dream. But a word of warning as i can be quite easy to scratch the arm inside due to the drill.

Well to get the Rubber part out is easy, My dad used to set up a blow torch so its blowing into the rubber and after a few minutes you can push it out with a Screw driver and all thats left of the bush is the Steel ring which as you say can be pushed out or if its a cast steel componant you can Colapse it in with a Hammer and Chisle.

Bid OTT for Alloy componats though so i tend to use a simalar method as the Bolt one above but using a Vise to push the bush out, Lot less messing about.

As siad its actually quite easy. Another way to remove it is to buy threaded bar and then just screw it out using sockets the right size. You may need air impact wrench to get it started though.

Easiest way to remove the bearings is to have access to a 10T press.
