If it work\'s the same as in other car\'s then yes its good - I rate it :mmmm  After I have done all the other stuff to mine I will be getting it.

And what a nice thing to put in an advert!

A guy I know in Oldham sold this car about 2-3 months ago he bought it from checkpoint a while back.
So the guy selling it has not had it long and selling up already I wonder why as well, from what the previous owner said he got a nice sum of cash and an m3 as trade in for it.
I agree with check point it looked miles better before it was changed to how it looks now, but the guy had no choice but to change the kit after crashing  the car driving back after buying it off check point (DOH) and he then thought get some traction control as he was scared of it:)

I have been in this car and used the race logic thing and the launch control is fun but power loss is noticible and was almost impossible to get the back end out, which annoyed me no end, I like the thrill of waiting for mine to twitch, but hey if you want steady easy control then its the way to go.
My feet are my traction control:)

I was just thinking of it for the strip :)
I like swingin too ;)

Yep, no point having launch control with no traction control (IMO)

Rixio

Yes but is it not switchable?

Ricco_04

It has these settings :

0% - Off
5% - Dry
100% - Wet / Ice
10% 15% etc

I dont have a unit myself so im trying to remember the settings :D

Just done a search for a piccie of the control box, hope this helps :

HI all

This is the old style controller, the new style controller has a LCD display which I must say looks nice and has more options.

When I tried the laucnh control, had throtle to the floor and the revs were rumbling at 4200rpm, the guy said just  take your foot of the clutch as quick as you can, not used to doing that so it took a couple of goes for me to really not care and just let go, car was off and into second before I knew what had happened brought a smile to my face but then I thought no real skill involved in it, but when you have a run on a strip you want to get it right all the time so I can see the point.

The guy who had to raved about it in wet and dry, you would here a click from the back end when the traction was kicking in.

I too really like the swinging:)

Looks like an investment then...right next on the agenda...get the car running :p
