strting problems

hi peeps. after a short run, usually when i go to re-start the car. turn the key and the dashboard lights up but car wont turn over. sit in the car turn the key anything up to 10-12 times then she fires up. so far changed the starter motor and also immoboliser but problem still persists. any ideas???

i would remove the ignition barrell and check the connections on the back of it.  the starter circuit is normally seperate from the ignition circuit.  might have a dodgy soldered connection.

If the cars flooded it will still turn over, sounds electriacal to me.

cheers fellas will have a look at ignition barrel, would of thought if it was battery or bad earth then the dash wouldnt light up but will check wiring also
