Anyone use a car cover? Any good / bad experiences? Just had a fairly mammoth job sorting out corroded electrics due to water getting into the boot. I know that the right answer is to fix the leak, but I haven\'t got the time at the moment, putting a car cover seems to be an interim step, and should keep the car a little cleaner as well. Any thoughts or recommendation?

Cheers, Mave :)

I bought a cover from covercraft, custom fit. Not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either at £240 I think. It performed well last winter and is a good fit. I\'ll post a photo tomorrow to give you an idea.

If the car is dirty then covers can cause real damage because it scratches like hell! Best thing to do is wash, polish, wax & then put a soft bed sheet on the car before putting the cover on...make sure the cover is tight aswell rather than loose and flappy...
