Has anyone used these? (They have this listed: "RX7 Coupe 2.6T  92->96" would that be the FD?)

They look pretty cool, and different so wouldnt mind havin \'em, tho they are a little pricey...

I\'ve never used them but I\'ve heard of them before.

To be honest I cant image there would be any benefit in using them, and personally I think they look a little bit chavvy.

Just my opinion though.

Darran.

less surface braking area how are they going to perform better than standard disks let alone be better

ds2000

Damn, the F1 teams must be wondering what they\'ve been upto all this time :Thumbs-up

CraigN

F1 cars use carbon-carbon composite rotors so im not quite sure what your on about mate ?

ds2000

Sorry I was a little deep in my mind, I\'m on about the shape, if these were even remotely feasible and actually better than the standard discs, F1 cars would be using them :)

In short, they are just a ugly waste of time :)

Cheers for those opinions lads.
TBH after painting my calipers, and wacking a different set of wheels on there I\'ve been tempted to get a big brake kit, as it looks a little empty between the spokes.
If these were cheaper I wouldn\'t hesitate buying them, but for the price if there\'s no actual improvement in performance...
Don\'t get me wrong I usually prefer looks over performance, but I prefere a mint set of brakes ;)
