Not too shabby for 2x years ownership, not a true figure though as it\'ll have been off the road for 2x years this November... eek!

I think there was a similar thread a while back that had the same kind of question.
IIRC John York was the \'winner\' and had spent some 50k on his slippery banana rx in 5 years!!

To be honest not had a very good time with my Rex. After a few problems with the engine a month or so after i bought it, (Ant @ Sterte Garage and Pip @ WGT were awesome getting this sorted though), a period of being skint meant i didn\'t get to use the thing or get an apexi ecu that i needed. I began to use it again and some clever fella in his Mummys Audi thought it\'d be good to drive into the side of me!!! By the end of the year though everything should be rosey!!

£11,500 purchase price (included re-build well worth the money and would recommend Sterte Garage (A7NTY on here)

£330 - for part service/small engine work from WGT

This is pretty much it for the time being so.....£11,830 for me.

Car is currently awaiting new front bumper, nearside front wing. Also once these have been done it\'ll be getting a apexi ECU fitted and if funds allow a complete re-spray thanks to the local t**ts and there golf balls.

Here\'s a pic before the smash @ a northern meet.

Nice thread but I don\'t think i\'ll be totalling up how much i\'ve spent. I don\'t think my mental health could handle the final figure

Far too much. Can\'t remember eveything, but:

Car: £6250
ECU: £450
V-mount: £850
Rebuild: £1700
Single Turbo and secondary injectors: £700
Wastegate: £440
Clutch: £350

Several other bits and pieces, probably coming to over £400

Crazy Eddie

Car £3000
HKS hardpipes £85
Service £249
Alloys £400
B&M shortshift £30
Start Button £40
Steering Wheel & Spacer £150

I did this on Pistonheads, just I don\'t keep it up to date, here goes:

car: £1500
rebuild + porting: £2200
Tein Springs: £200
first FMIC + custom piping: £650
Microtech LT10s ECU: £700
Apexi Turbo Timer: £60
Wheels: £500
Turbo II Leather seats and Alloy Bonnet: £250
2nd hand shell bought for Konis, exhaust and Microtech Dash Unit: £200

so far: £6260

currently undergoing:
new much bigger V-Mount IC: approx £250
uprated Rad: £250
T70 Turbo: approx £1000
external wastgate: approx £400
4x1000cc injectors: approx £500
Fuel Pump approx £150
FPR: approx £120
Apexi Boost Controller £250
labour charges: who knows??? (prob about £1500 or so!)

so another £4500 ish to spend!

Have sold the first FMIC, the SS Exhaust and one or two other bits so I\'ve made back about £550!

wow, by the time i\'ve done this phase, I\'ll have spent nearly £10.5k (less the £550) on a Turbo II! Who says us FC owners are tight-wads?

(now replaced with 2nd hand Konis and Pi Springs)
Mark
89 Black FC3S Turbo II
1/2 Bridge port   Microtech LT10s   TII Conv Aluminium Bonnet & Leather seats   Koni Shocks Pi Springs   De-catted 3" exhaust
GT4088 turbo   Walbro fuel pump   1000cc injectors   custom V-Mount   Blitz Boost Controller (ok so the boost controller is still to fit)

Loud? Hell yes! :D
