What size do people recommend? I am looking at 17" and 18" but unsure what fits / looks best etc. Will 18s rub at all? What is the handelling like on 18s from other peoples experience.

Thanks.

there are loads of threads on this subject-see search button. i have 18x8.5 front and back running 225/40 and 255/35 tyres. i had to roll my arches at the rear because the car is so low but with 17s you shouldn\'t have any dramas. i think 18s look much better as they fill the arches. they rub slightly on full lock at the front but apart from the noise its not a problem.

a common mistake peope make is to buy 7 or 7.5 wide wheels from halfrauds or similar. imo these are not wide enough for 300bhp+ through the rear wheels-look at an M3 and you will see it uses the same sized tyres as i am using.  believe me the more rubber in contact with the road the better!

Also what width would I need on the the front and rear?

Depends. Many Jap manufacturers usually list 8.5 fronts for 18 and 9.5 for the rear.

going to get some rota wheels as I can get discount on them through my work. Should do similar offsets etc to rays.
