For quite a while now my dash lights have not worked, i have checked fuses and also Ross at Dragon has checked fuses and had a quick look and also a guy at a local garage and cant figure out whats wrong with it, the guy at the garage tried cahnging bulbs and still not working.  Anyone else had the same problem?? Any suggestions of what it could be?

Might have one of the elements or resistors burnt out in the dash pod itself.
Or a bad connection in one of the sockets.Check sockets and element connection first on back of dash pod.:)

Can I be the first to suggest turning up the \'dash lighting brightness\' knob next to the heater controls? :D

^ lol.

Check the PCB, sometimes capacitors can burst and corrode the PCB tracks, I can\'t imagine it\'d screw the whole dash up though :(

hehe yes ive tried the brightness knob it wasant that, i will have to take the dash apart and take a look, the whole dask lighting is gone, the speedo etc all work fine its just the lighting

the lemster

just a thought...

if you have played around with the centre cosole/stereo area you might have knocked a wire out the back of the dimming control,

take the steroe out and  in on the right there is a small black box ( ooooh sounds like a plane)  in the back of this theres some connectors, you ahve to push in the little clips to release it ... a bit trocky the first time you do it

replace these and then sede if it ahs made a difference, check the wirse are not broken...disconnected

good luck
