Hi All,

Does anyone know the color of the wire on the ECU for the rev counter

I think its black/blue and on the end of one of the pin outs.

Its to pick up the feed for a Profec

Huge thanks guys,

To expand on this does anyone know where to find the "map" of the ECU plugs and wire definitions as it would real usefully to put that in our FAQ section

There was one floating around theweb that was completely unreadable, but im not where that was, try fd3s.net or for a more helpful approach find a nice man with the book and scan the pages so they CAN actually be read.

My rev counter has stopped working, Were does it pick its signal from,

blue/yellow with red dash -- I`ll check it with scope see if its chucking anything out

Shyne

Mick, you can ask and answer a question all in one post, you must learn things really fast lol

Yep, thats it, if you\'ve got a signal and no reading on the dial look at the rear of the cluster (at top in middle) it can foul and kill the readings, may not be the case but if it is it can be an a*se to locate.

Good luck mate

might be an idea to have a look at the wires going to the map sensor and the going to the ecu and finding it there.
A small turbo

Its like anything electrical, you search enough (logical) places with the MM or PP and you\'ll find the answer you seek before too long. lol If you need any pin IDs etc, just shout.

Let us know how you get on mate, happy hunting
