Highway Insurance have finally settled my claim

Could someone with more PC knowledge explain how i can send a link for this to other clubs i use, which are The Granada and Scorpio owners Club (//www.gs-online.co.uk )
and also  Ford Probe owners club (http://www.fpoc.co.uk/) i need help to do it right first time please,

Bob, if you look in your browser - just highlight the whole line in the \'Address\' area which looks like http:/www.mazda.... - then on your other forum paste this into another thread - if you have the \'Insert Link\' icon which looks like a globe with a chain on it then use that to stick it into a new message thread.

Thanks Rob. Prof, i did it cheers, i was wondering if there are other clubs (3 more of mine!)  will be viewing this thread if it would be good to put that awfull picture of blitzboys car ablaze on here as well, (at the beginning if poss!) guess it\'s Marks decision though,what you reckon?

Then from the menu (at the top of Internet Explorer) click EDIT, then COPY ( its copied into memory, called clipboard, and now its waiting for you to paste it somewhere)

then on your other forum ..

SO now you go to the other forum in your Internet Explorer, and start your new thread. Then in the body of the thread, click EDIT - PASTE

Many thanks for that Martin, i\'m ok with it now, gratefull for the help, just wondered that i\'m diverting the thread a bit, some guys in other clubs finding it a bit heavy going to read it all, wonder if it would be a good idea for a mod to remove all the unre-lated bits like mine, and wonder if Mark would include a pic of the awfull event,

 I\'m currently with Highway Insurance and needless to say, I won\'t be with them again next year when I\'m due for renewal:Nono! I hope they are keeping tabs on this post because everyone who is with them so far over on FPOC have said that they will be leaving them on their renewal date because of this:Laugh

 I\'m only insured third party, fire and theft anyway as the Probe isn\'t worth as much as your lovely cars but I should be insured for FIRE, and according to this case, I\'m not:mad: If they aren\'t paying out due to a machanical fault, then they are obviously selling misleading insurance so blitzboy, take it all the way mate, you are 100% right in saying that they should payout!

 Put it this way, you pay your insurance to be covered for fire! What causes a fire in a car, either a machanical or electrical fault. If they say they aren\'t going to pay out because of either of those, then their insurance is worthless. The only other way for the car to catch fire is for you to throw a match to it and then your insurance would be invalid so they are saying that you pay for fire insurance but you can\'t claim on it, that seems like theft to me, of your money!

 Take it all the way mr Blitz, you may even be able to sue them because of it. maybe a long shot but I can\'t see why not. And why the hell is their mechanic, dismantling your property? the vehicle only becomes their property when they have paid you for it and you agreed to not have the car back. Destruction of private property, another case to sue their ass for!

 And before the Highway Insurance snoop tries to find out who I am to give me a hard time, don\'t bother! I never claim on my insurance anyway as i think it\'s a waste of money and my premiums will only shoot up to £1200 if I lost my no claims and it\'ll cost me less than that to get another probe:guinness

hi,  just popped in to give you some support, (thanks to bobs link on gso)

i cant see any way you will not win this case, this will be a great victory for you, and for EVERY motorist. highway will lose masses of business, as word of the way you have been treated is spreading like wildfire.

since the link on gso (lastnight), it has be linked again, on at least 7 motoring forums that i know of, and no doubt they will be linked again, im guessing around 100 forums must know about this now, and how many members in each forum, linking it again? this is all over great britain.

if they dont settle your claim soon, they could well bankrupt themselves next year, do they realise how many potential customers are awaiting the outcome of this, not that anyone who has read this thread would ever consider insuring with them.

hi there, sorry to hear about your car and them money grabin tossers not paying up. hope they **** them selfs when they read all the thred, im with highways and wont be going back to them when its due for renewal, just to let ya know im a member of //www.street-stylers-southwest.co.uk  i play quite a big part in the club and have posted a link on there as we are not far off 2000 members. we also have alot of contacts including ross that owns dragon  ( i think some of you may have come across him as he rebuilds rx7s on the out skirts of exeter in the southwest) and will be letting them know about this. hope ya get a decent result cheers lee

Hi guys, I own and run the Volvo performance club UK and a link to this was posted yesterday:

I think these people are appauling, I along with many others pay for my mods on top of my policy each year, for them to then say get lost !

They should be written off the insurance planet instantly.

Anyway, rant over, just thought i would show some support on behalf of us lot, we have links to many other major automotive based internet sites and the word has been passed already. Lets see if we cant put them out of business by the end of the year
