Hi guys, im new here and am planning on buying a 3rd gen RX-7 as a second car by the end of the year. Being only 21 I was going to ask a few questions regarding age ect, but from reading the thread by \'sky-x7\' most of them have been answerd.
Also finding the rest of the forum full of usefull information, cheers:D

My only piece of worthwhile advice is this : Take your time to do your research and buy the right car, it will be the difference between a great ownership experience or a horrendous wallett busting nightmare.

You could do a lot worse than look at the cars available privately here.

Sounds like you\'ve got the right idea and going to have it as a second car. But as has already been said, take you time and find the right one. There are many out there now so dont let your heart lead you astray, Buy with you head. Learn as much as you can, ask questions and try out as many as you can so you know what they all do.

Cheers for the welcome people, all advice taken on board. There are a few cars for sale on here that seem to be just what im looking for but im not quite ready to buy just yet as I have a car I need to sell first.

always take someone who knows these cars with you, even if it is a car advertised on one of the forums and get a compression test done. A mistake i made and i\'m still paying for.

Personally i would buy from either a reputable listed importer through this site or start going through private ads on here or autotrader.

Spen i noticed your a member of japworcs. There a 4 owners of fd rx7\'s on there, me, ricco, big-spin-flip and rx paul, so if you need someone to go with you, you are safe.

Well i\'ve never met any of the guys on there except ricco when he bought an air filter pipe off me. He likes the rx soo much he has 2 rx7\'s A red fd3s rx7 and a white fc turbo2..lucky bugger
