My knock sensor has stopped working

Hi. Its been broken since the rebuild..either that or i\'m getting no engine vibration at all!!

With VW type sensors you had to torque then up carefully to 20Nm. Re-torquing sometimes helps as well.

Are there any special handling techniques that can bring them back to life?

I find plugging the sensor in.

In serious mode, try tapping the engine block with a hammer and see what it reads. If it doesnt read anything, then you need to either replace the sensor or check the wiring.
