Hi all

I have recently been thinking of getting an Rx-7 Gen3 an I decided to go for a test drive. Well it all started well the owner drove me around an really let the power out anyway when it came to my turn I had a problem when I sat in the drivers seat I couldn\'t get my foot on the clutch pedal my leg was hitting the steering wheel I couldn\'t fit:mad:

I\'m 6ft4 has anyone got any ideas also is there a way that I can remove the rear seat and get an aftermarket seat with a longer rail???

ANYONE HELP PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GeckoGareth

I believe the UK cars have a slightly longer rail and have no rear seats as standard. I\'m 6\'1 and it\'s fine, I can move the seat back a good few inches as well so would have thought you\'d be fine.

i think there is a mod to get a bit more movement back on the seat. Do a search and see what there is on here.

a smaller steering wheel can also help

I struggle with my 1st gen as I\'m too tall.

Hi and Welcome to MRC,

We have some real tall guys who drive these cars who I have seen have the seat quite reclined to accommodate themselves,

U/K cars had a seat runner that let the seat go back further, but I have know people modify the stock Jap runners so they move back further.

Hope this helps
