Front screen washer jets dribbling water???

On my journey back from Leman\'s my screen washer jets have decided to start leaking water all over my bonnet. Which is a tad irritating.

The pump for the washer jets isn\'t pumping but the system seems to be pressurising itself which is making my car dribble water. it seems to be worst
when coming to a stop. The water tank isn\'t pressurised when I open that.

Has anyone experienced this before, or have got any ideas on how I could fix it.

Yes !!

I\'ve had this on another car, an MX5 as it happens !
I cured it by fitting some sort of check valve sold by mazda dealer (since found they are available at halfrauds)
