Can someone point me to the right direction please?
My car\'s developed a strange electrical fault.
Basically, when I turn on the ignition, the P FC doesn’t even come on, car not starting.
However, whenever the P FC does come on, then it starts just fine??(this only happens occasionally though).
Furthermore, apparently, if you unplug the middle plug to the P FC, then you could start the car ???
What on earth is happening??

Thanks

Prof

Could be just that - an Earthing or power problem.

dont know.
Car\'s at a garage right now.
An auto electrician\'s worked on it 4 times now, but didnt have any luck finding out exactly what is wrong with it  :(
Apparently, he’s already checked all the wires n plugs to the ECU, and found no fault.  All the fuses are fine too.

The worst kind of fault, you don\'t want to here this but you\'ll probably need to wait until it dies alltogether before you find it, as trying to find the fault when its not there is a bit of a mission impossible. All you can do is trace the wiring loom end to end twisting flexing and bending everything in sight while someone watches the display, if it flickers or goes off then at least your in the right area.

Couldn\'t be something as simple as a loose battery connection, I had that problem when I first got my car and I\'ve heard its quite common with FD\'s.

Could\'nt be an iffy apex\'i could it?? Heard of a few of them crashing, is this how??

Maybe try the standard ECU back on or borrow another Apex\'i- migh save alot of hunting!?
The FC is dead, long live the FD

Hi,
Im pretty sure it isnt loose battery connection, thought, will ask him to check on that.
I\'ve also tried swapping the ECU.
Anymore more suggestion are most welcome :wave
