Hi guys

Taking on board what was said to me the other day, I\'m looking into getting a new ECU for re-map.  I think my car is overfueling a bit at the moment and it feels quite restricted.

Anyone have any ideas on the best types?  I\'d be interested to know what any of you have and your opinions etc....I am looking the the Apexi FC (with commander) as I\'d heard good things but does anyone have any alternatives?

Cheers

Matt

The most common is the Apexi Power-FC, some use the Microtech or Autronic.

Apexi sadly is the cheapest way to go.

Have a Motec M800 & ADL dash to go in one car, if it ever gets finished, and a M4Pro thats should be going in to our drift car.

IMO the only real disadvantage of the PFC is that it can\'t retard the ignition based on the knock sensor. Otherwise its pretty cool. :)

That dash setup is cool :)

Not that I can\'t afford it at the mo\', but what does that setup and the ECU cost?

Either the Pectel or the MoTeC.

franky

wot about the knights ecu they any good? wot kind of brake they give out?

Do you mean the Knight Sports ECU? If you do then its just an Apexi PFC with their map on it.

As for the amount of power it will provide, this will depend on other modifications on the car.
