The favoured unit appears to be the Bosch Motorsport 044 pump.

Can be sourced at most tuners.

Or another common upgrade is to another NipponDenso pump. Either a Cosmo or Supra Pump. Can\'t remember part numbers, but they fit in tank and look exactly like the stock unit.

BTW I did have the Bosch 044 pump and it was too high flowing for the fuel tank!!!

Used to get fuel starvation with under 1/3 of a tank. Damn good pump, but I wouldn\'t recommend using it unless I was running a separate external surge tank/swirl pot.

I\'ve just changed to a Supra model Denso pump and it is ample for my needs :)

Max - snap! only other comment on the Denso unit is you can hear it on start up / tickover - does the job though:cool

what would be a good pump for a FC TII?

For an FC.
I did look at this along time ago and if I remember right
a FD pump will gain you a bit a cosmo pump more (both drop in?)
Or a Walbro with minor mods cant remember the flow rates
now, but will obviously depend on what size injectors/fuel rail
FPR and ECU you got.
