Power FC Cable or Pin Removal Question

Hello,

Tried searching for this but seem unable to find it mentioned on here.

On the UK (or European Spec) version of the FD do I have to remove the four pins on the ECU unit (or cut the the four wires on the ECU wiring loom) when installing an Apexi Power FC?

It seems that you have to do this for US Spec cars (on the RX7 Club forum), but like I said I am unsure on the UK car.

I never cut anything when i installed mine in the car, works fine.
