Hi Mate,

I think its agreed that leaving the car to warm up stationary for 10 minutes is not a good idea really, whats better is to start her up, sort out your music, dust on dash etc for a minute or so then drive at low revs, off boost until the gauges reach normal levels before putting your foot down

this enables the engine to warm up quicker, and more "evenly" and therefore is better for the car

The only thing to remeber is that water temp does not indicate the engine oil temp, the oil can still be quite cool by the time the water temp is up.  An oil temp guage is your best bet, but if not a good rule is don\'t boot it as soon as its up to temp and try to start off with a little boost rather than full boost straight away :)

I would say warm up for 1-2 minutes before setting off and no Boost until at least 5 minutes after the Water is warm.

Cooling down is harder, drive for 1-2 miles off boost (slowly) then idle for 1-2 minutes turn off then leave for 30 seconds, start again and run for a Minute. Job Done.

This sounds a bit long drawn out bussness but it is going of an After market EMS with a Logger, that tells me the water temp etc rises when turned (even after 5 minute cool down).

Ask some one that Runs a Power Fc etc to have a look.
