does anyone in the know have any advice on apex seals.  im stuck?  i\'ll be using the car on a strip, hoping to run over 2 bar boost. ive been told to go for 3mm ceramic seals? however other people have told me for just short sprints its not worth the expense. Therefore I should use ceramic or metal 2mm seals as they seal better.
but ive also ive told to use racing corner seals as well ? any advice ? should i uprate any other internal components while the engines out ?

thanks for the help

A can of worms that one its mainly down to personal choice whilst 3mm can give a bit of protection if your tune is not 100% they often don\'t seal as well but if your rotors ar slightly worn then you can machine them out to 3mm and reuse them. Once the engines down the decision may be made for you if the slots are outside 2mm seal tolerance and you want to reuse the rotors.
Have you priced up ceramic seals? You may get a shock!

These are half the price of ceramics and wont do the damage that ceramics can if they let go, also check out how many world record holders are using them.
and they are the same price for 2mm or 3mm so you can choose your preference without having to compromise.
