Hi I am posting a question for a fellow rx owner in the area, he asked me if I know what plugs he should run on his setup, his car used to miss big time under accelaration adn 2nd turbo used to not boost, he says putting 10.5 all round solved most of his problems? can any one advise why this would solve his issues just being curious really and trying to expand my knowledge of rotary

, his setup is as follows.
FD twin turbo
Nur-spec, Blitz exhaust,
Decated,
HKS down pipe,
Blitz induction kits,
Blitz front mounted intercooler,
Blitz turbo timer,
Apexi Fuel computer,
Boost upto 1 bar,
Koyo allu radiator,
Uprated fuel pump,
might have uprated injectors but I am not sure

He currently runs HKS 10.5 all round because  and wants to go to 11\'s all round I thought they may be too cold but wanted to see if anyone with the knowledge could help.

Thanks in advance

Fish

Due to the higher boost level the spark at a guess was being blown out. Bit like candles really. :)

IMO he only really needed to change the trailing plugs to 10.5, but if he\'s running ok with them all round then fine.

Thanks for the info, so boost is a direct link to running colder plugs in trailing, would warmer plug in leading maybe help the car from flooding (which I dont think he has had a problem with anyway)

IF 10.5 are running I will tell him to leave them and not go to 11 or would this 0.5 not make a massive differnce?

Thanks

Christopher

I use 10\'s and 11\'s on mine with no problems

Depends on what he uses the car for. If mainly city driving then yse try some 9\'s in the leading and see how things go.

If being used for a weekend/trackday car then stay as they are.
