Just wondering where you single turbo fellas have mounted your Bov\'s? and have you got any pictures!, im at a loss where to put the apexi that i was using with the twins. One idea im thinking about is getting something like a forge universal jobbie and welding it to the elbow side. But if there is a way of using my old one then that would be better. :Tongue1

  Cheers, Andy.

are u running a fmic if so i had a pipe made up to go between greddy elbow and fmic and had the dump valve take off there it shd be as near to throttle body as poss..fusion fabrication will make a pipe in polished stainless steel if u make up a cardboard template for a very good price

You could always just leave it off.

no clue at all.

no dont leave it off..thats only for the rally boys who can afford to keep stripping turbos..as u lift off without the valve the air will flow back over the compressor wheel which is spinng at a trillion times a second.yes it will sound great but it just does not do the turbo any good long term and will actually slow the turbo spool

Running a side mount, i have thought about that. That would probably mean ditching the old one, in favour of something a bit smaller, like greddy then. i have seen pipes on ebay 6 nches lon 2.5 wide with the a bov flange welded in. That could be the way to do it. So  defo need one then? red and single was running with out for a while, but i can see your point about the damage turbo stall could do :2Confused

Don\'t know if this will help, but in the pic below i\'ve have highlighted where Pip at WGT fitted mine, and i reckon he knows what he\'s doing lol

he prob mounted here due space issue what with battery in the way mine is where the battery is ..either is ok but it is allways best as near as poss to throttle body

I dont want to side track you anymore so read through the thread below if your concerned about whether to run a bov or not.  On the second page are some links to related discussions on other forums

yeah, mine\'s still mounted on a shelf in the garage :Giggle
There have been long (heated) discussions about the pros and cons of bovs on other rotary forums. I\'d use one for safety if I was running high boost on a weedy turbo.. but I\'m not :D

I dont run one. My turbo is ball bearing so I cant see how my turbo will get damaged. I like to keep the pipes pressurised during gear changes, plus I luv the compressor surge noise

mine is in the same position as adams.... Greddy BOV tho

The optimum place for a dump-valve is as close to the throttle body as possible.
