Are you still going to be running with LPG?

jeted

well I am planing to atempt to run it on it still but wil depend on tests will go injected if I keep it

afterall on modified engine whith lpg might get in to doubal figgurs on mpg

Ricco_04

I recon, run with the LPG  :)  I would imagine you have a straght thru exhaust anyway?  As you are virtually zero emissions (all be it still having to burn oil for the apex seals) then have you got shot of the aip pump?

What did you need for the convirsion by the way? (ecu and remap etc etc - taking advantage of higher octane levels etc)  I\'m sure I can remember you saying that they run much lower intake temps because of the cold gass?

take your rotor housings to a small machine shop and get them drilled and bored 50mm between the water outlet and oil jet. buy some aluminum tube 50mm 1.5mm wall cut 2- 300mm long pieces and get them welded up in each housing or weld yourself if you can. port around the tube inside the housing.
Get 2 pieces of the same tube cut at around 300mm long, take to a pipe benders and ask for a 150mm rad 160deg bend on both of your pipes.make ali flanges for your required carbs and have these welded on the end of your bend runners.
if youve got a bit of time this could be done easily mate, just do some research

thats periferal porting isent it?

I ORIGANLY RULED IT OUT AS TO TRICKY FOR MY FIRST REBUILD
but maybe worth considering I am not shure if I coud yus an engine like that on the road but woud be grate for the strip

do you make inlets simerler shape to exhaust and what do I do whith the existing ports just blank off?

perep port is a lot easier than custom inlet plenum and runners.
2 bored holes, welding and 2 bent pipes with 2 flanges, thats it.
theres a lot more work with making lower and upper plenum and runners trust me, im still changing things on mine, ive made 4 different drawings of it!!!!
theres a lot a variables to think about on intake man and plenum:-
strength , material used, heat soak, header bend angle and length, injector locations in runners, throttle body size, leaving room for turbo, bonnet clearence etc etc.
my plenum has 4- 50mm runners going directly onto intake flange, port matched up to very large intake ports.ie no middle flange like std manifold.
Its all made from polished stainless  with 2 ali box section fuel rails anodised red feeding 8 injectors.
it looks the seeds :D
I was gonna do perhepial port to make life easier and to get more power with turbo setup but decided to go for full bridge instead.
lets see what happens with it.

thanks sounds good to me just need to get / fined some drawings of ports and locashion to make templats
I have a friend to tig\'s well and there is a milling mashine in a mates barn.

I guess fit gas injectors as close as posibal to engine and make up 2 throtal bodys to match
