I was assembling in this order:

Exhaust manifold
Heatshield
Turbo
Heatshield

This made the most sense to me anyway

I offered the Manifold up to the studs (okay), I then went to put the nuts in place (ahh nuts! Where the f*** are they), after a while I found some that would do. Then time for the Heatshield, I offered it up, then ..... Ah! my first snapped stud! I drilled it out (after a fashion) next, tap the new hole. Ahh! I don\'t own any taps!!!! Okay then, onto the water pump. So I clean off the old gasket cement, oh! I don\'t have any of that stuff either HELP!

Got this lot together but I\'ll have to dissassemble it to mount it, D\'oh!
:(

grinder

its the same old scenario - simple to take apart - an absolute pain in the butt to rebuild !!

so i take it that you have stopped there then !

so when is the big push ?

Back on the job again, but I have a shed load of nuts and bolts missing. AAHHH!!!!

Sean

Okay, it\'s 7:10pm and I can\'t see a bloody thing (and I\'m frozen). Kno everything is bolted on, but lots of nuts and bolts missing (what a pratt!).

I can\'t drop the engine in the car without these! I am missing to many to list, so if anyone has any odds and ends that they could donate, I would gladly cover any postage. And if you bring them yourselves and help me, I will get the kettle on!

Please help!!!!:god

Sean

So far I\'m missing:

4x Small bolts that hold on the water pump pulley

1x Longish bolt that goes straight through the water pump into the block

Thats all that I can remember off the top of my head (don\'t know what they were doing there).

I\'m going to try again now, is anyone near Northwich?

grinder

not me matey ( but you know that already ! )

its a pity you decide to do all this whilist everyone else is at work - or i would be up in a shot :)
