Rats nest solenoids

Does anyone know what the colour spots relate to on the solenoids, just want to check, as mine have all the same part numbers AESA127, should they operate in the same way, i imagine they dont.
Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself...
But i can always do with some help now due to, my advancing years!

There are only something like two different types of solenoids. For the same type ones, they can be interchanged.
